Wanting to promote and sell tickets for the KidsFest and The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) play, ABA Productions needed to gather significant attention from relevant lifestyle media outlets with the right target audience in the weeks before the events took place.
Mutant Communications helped to plan a strategic two-week PR push to gather attention from local lifestyle media, and their audiences. We also pitched interviews and stories, while managing media tickets, and follow-ups with media.
Our strategic PR push resulted in a spike in ticket sales for both events. It also helped to secure strong media coverage in key top-tier publications for KF2018, including 19 media articles as well as ticket giveaways with 10 media outlets with relevant lifestyle and parenting media. The two-week PR push for Shakespeare secured a total of 14 pieces of coverage (12 online articles and 2 radio) from media titles, including Coconuts SG, The Straits Times, Time Out, Yahoo Lifestyle, Kiss92FM and more, as well as 11 pairs of tickets given away in competitions.
