Brief/Objectives
To improve brand awareness, boost positive consumer sentiment and increase share-of-voice in Singapore’s competitive mobile market.
Solution
From August 2019 to August 2020, Mutant has worked with vivo to successful conceptualise and execute three preview events for the launch of its new phones, drawing top tier media and influencers. This includes Vivo's first virtual media preview for the vivo X50 Pro which launched during the pandemic when there were restrictions on in-person meetings.

Results
- More than 140 earned media coverage secured for vivo's six phone launches across mainstream, top tier lifestyle and tech publications.
- Mutant drove greater awareness for the brand, with the highest percentage growth (+5.6%) in share-of-voice amongst its competitors.
- Media portrayals were also strong with vivo having the most number of positive stories and least number of negative stories.
